In order to best meet the needs of his patients, Dr. Robert Whitfield offers several types of breast procedures. Women interested in full, shapely curves are often good candidates for breast augmentation. In addition, Dr. Whitfield offers an advanced form of breast reconstruction known as the DIEP flap technique for women who have lost a breast due to cancer. After graduating from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, Dr. Whitfield completed plastic surgery and general surgery residencies at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He then continued his training by completing a fellowship in microsurgery at the prestigious University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.
Since 2005, Dr. Whitfield has been serving patients from Madison and other areas of Wisconsin at his Milwaukee cosmetic surgery practice. Dr. Whitfield also has a full-time academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
