A non-animal-based cosmetic filler, Restylane® is composed of hyaluronic acid, which is produced naturally in the human body. This injectable can be used to achieve smooth, healthy-looking skin. During this minimally invasive procedure, Dr. Whitfield removes fat cells from one area of the body and replaces them in another part of the body to contour the features or add more volume. One of the main ingredients is polylactic acid, an artificial substance very similar to something that the body naturally produces.
